1. Overview
PropFirmSuccess ("the Site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Automatically collected: When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data may be collected through server logs, cookies, or third-party analytics services.
User preferences:The Site stores your fit score weights, filter selections, and display preferences in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, a display name (optional), a hashed password, and authentication session tokens. If you sign in through a third-party provider such as Google, we also receive your verified email, name, and profile picture from that provider.
Trade data you import:When you upload a trade-history CSV, we store the individual trade records (symbol, side, quantity, entry/exit timestamps and prices, P&L, fees, notes, and tags you add) against your account. This data is yours. We use it only to compute the analytics shown in your dashboard and to evaluate prop firm compatibility for you — never to train models, share with advertisers, or resell.
Trading account metadata: Names, firm associations, account sizes, and starting balances that you enter when creating trading accounts inside the dashboard.
Voluntary information: If you contact us directly (e.g., via email), we may collect the information you provide in your communication.
2a. Service Providers Who Store Your Data
We use Supabase as our authentication, database, and storage provider. Your account credentials, profile, trading accounts, imported trade records, and session cookies are stored on Supabase infrastructure under Row-Level Security policies that restrict access to each user's own rows. If you sign in with Google, Google receives your request and returns identity claims; subsequent session management is handled by Supabase. Our site hosting and serverless functions run on Vercel, which may log request metadata for operational purposes.
3. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Authenticate you and keep your session active
- Compute and display the analytics, charts, and firm-fit scores on your dashboard
- Send transactional email (password reset, email confirmation, security alerts)
- Understand how visitors use the Site (aggregate analytics only)
- Prevent abuse or unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your imported trade data for any purpose other than delivering features to you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with prop firms, brokers, or any third party for advertising or research.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics and basic functionality. Third-party services (such as analytics providers or affiliate networks) may also set cookies when you interact with their content on the Site. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
5. Third-Party Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including proprietary trading firms and affiliate partners. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with analytics providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Server logs and aggregate analytics data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Local storage data on your device persists until you clear it manually.
Account data — including your profile, trading accounts, trade records, and import history — is retained for as long as your account is active. You can erase any subset at any time:
- Delete all trades: Dashboard → Settings → Danger zone → Delete all my trades removes every imported trade and import record. Your account stays intact.
- Delete a trading account: Dashboard → Accounts → Delete on a specific account removes that account and the trades tied to it.
- Delete your entire account: Dashboard → Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account permanently removes your authentication record, profile, trading accounts, imported trades, import history, and tags. This cannot be undone.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR for EEA residents, CCPA for California residents, and similar), you may have the right to access, correct, port, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Most of these rights are self-serve from within the dashboard. For requests we can't fulfill through the UI alone, contact us using the information below.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Site. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
11. Contact
